Primary duties include assigning work to mechanics and assisting in managing the maintenance of Southwest Aircraft during normal daily operations and overnight maintenance. Secondary duties, but no less important, include being a part of the working manpower that maintains the Southwest Fleet in top mechanical form.

Aircraft A&P Mechanic and Avionics Technician at Oakland Airport for Southwest Airlines. Primary duties include performing routine inspections and non-routine troubleshooting and repair of Southwest Airlines overnight aircraft.

Cox Auditorium Manager, Sound/Recording Engineer and Manager of Media Services Technical Crew. Managed the technical and logistical arrangements including sound reinforcement and lighting. Served as the Recording and Editing Engineer for the school’s recording studio. Troubleshot and repaired campus sound systems and made recommendations for upgrades.
Principia College		9/94 – 7/98
Performance Technician/Engineer for the majority of campus speaking and social events. This job was held in a part-time capacity while I attended college from 1994-1998. Provided technical support for a wide variety of campus activities which included working as the movie projectionist, sound engineer, lighting designer and a variety of media support related functions. This job lead to my full time employment as the Cox Auditorium Manager and Performance Engineer 1998-1999.

Cedar Ridge	06/95-09/97
Assisted living caregiver at Cedar Ridge. Duties included, aiding guests with daily tasks, cleaning and cooking light meals filling some transportation needs. This job was carried out during the summer months during my years of college. I also worked in the maintenance department for Cedar Ridge during my off hrs from the Assisted Living section. Duties in maintenance included, re-tiling a bathroom, landscape work, minor repair to equipment for the establishment.
Delta Airlines	01/88 – 7/94
Aircraft Mechanic and Avionics Technician. Troubleshot, repaired and maintained mechanical and electrical systems on Delta Aircraft. Majority of time spent in Line Maintenance. Worked on all types of aircraft including: B737, B727, B757, B767, L1011, MD88 and MD11. Certified on Digital Flight Guidance Systems for most of Delta’s fleet. Did extensive work on L1011 fuel migration and quantity problems.
United States Navy	12/83 – 12/87
Trained and served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Maintained, troubleshot and repaired aircraft electrical problems for squadron of TA-4J aircraft. Plane Captain certified and thus responsible for inspections, launching and general maintenance of squadron aircraft. Upon promotion to E-4 became weekend Shop Supervisor for Transient Line Maintenance. I was also trained to serve on temporary duty as military police for the Navy. I was trained in baton defense and small arms training .45 and .38 caliber weapons. I was on the detail that secured the base during Ronald Reagan’s visit to NAS Dallas 1985.
Principia High School	09/79– 12/83
During High School years held a wide variety of campus jobs on a part time basis for my first 3 years and then on a full time basis for my last year of school continueing until my ship out date with the Navy. I worked as a janitor, painter, maintenance worker, dish washer and other part time jobs. I also worked on a volunteer basis for the technical and logistic crew for all campus theatrical and media support type jobs including projectionist, stage crew and lighting installer.
