This job was carried out during the summer months during my years of college. I also worked in the maintenance department for Cedar Ridge during my off hrs from the Assisted Living section. Duties in maintenance included, re-tiling a bathroom, landscape work, minor repair to equipment for the establishment. |

Aircraft Mechanic and Avionics Technician. Troubleshot, repaired and maintained mechanical and electrical systems on Delta Aircraft. Majority of time spent in Line Maintenance. Worked on all types of aircraft including: B737, B727, B757, B767, L1011, MD88 and MD11. Certified on Digital Flight Guidance Systems for most of Delta’s fleet. Did extensive work on L1011 fuel migration and quantity problems. |

Trained and served in the United
States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Maintained, troubleshot and repaired
aircraft electrical problems for squadron of TA-4J aircraft. Plane Captain certified and thus
responsible for inspections, launching and general maintenance of squadron
aircraft. Upon promotion to E-4 became
weekend Shop Supervisor for Transient Line Maintenance. I was also trained to serve on temporary duty
as military police for the Navy. I was
trained in baton defense and small arms training .45 and .38 caliber
weapons. I was on the detail that
secured the base during Ronald Reagan’s visit to NAS Dallas 1985. |

During High School years held a wide variety of campus jobs on a part time basis for my first 3 years and then on a full time basis for my last year of school continueing until my ship out date with the Navy. I worked as a janitor, painter, maintenance worker, dish washer and other part time jobs. I also worked on a volunteer basis for the technical and logistic crew for all campus theatrical and media support type jobs including projectionist, stage crew and lighting installer. |
